Drama

Drama at OAGS is open to all students from Kindergarten to Year 12 and builds the foundation of confident and expressive communicators and collaborators.

In addition to Drama in the curriculum and the musicals at OAGS, Drama Club is offered in both the Primary and Secondary schools as a co-curricular option. These groups provide teaching, mentoring and coaching to aspiring actors, directors, writers and those students who love to have fun playing games and expressing themselves dramatically.

Drama runs during breaks times and in the mornings throughout the week and involves:

Improvisation and Theatresports
Play building
The development of short scripted plays
Individual Performance coaching
Developing vocal, movement and character skills
Performances

Students participate in a number of performances throughout the year including:

Eisteddfods
OAGS Onstage
Chapel performances
CAPA Showcases
