Our Culture

School Houses

Our House system is used to develop students' sense of belonging and their ability to serve others. The Houses also form the main ‘teams’ for sporting activities, such as our Swimming, Athletics, and Cross Country Carnivals.

At Orange Anglican Grammar School, we have 4 Houses, each representing an Indigenous animal from our local Wiradjuri country.

  • Bandhaa - Kangaroo (Red)
  • Biladurang - Platypus (Blue)
  • Dinawan - Emu (Yellow)
  • Gugaa - Goanna (Green)

Originally named and honoured by local Wiradjuri elders, our Houses are an important part of the development and maintenance of our school culture.
