Secondary School
"OAGS is a place where the teachers invest in the whole of the person - not just in their education or sporting pursuits, providing an environment for them to thrive."
— Tabitha - Secondary School Parent
The transition to Secondary School is a significant moment in the life of every student. These last 6 years are the setting when our students transition from childhood into capable and confident young adults. For this reason, we are committed to investing in the development of the whole person.
Within their academic course of study, students are taught by a collaborative and highly capable teaching and learning team. Delivering the core subjects alongside a broad range of elective options in years 9 and 10 and the full range of courses you would expect of a private independent school in years 11 and 12, our students have achieved great success.
Personal development outside of the classroom is highly valued at Orange Anglican Grammar School and regardless of prior knowledge and experience students are encouraged to sign up for one of our many co curricular offerings including the Agriculture Team, School Musical, Cadets, Co-curricular Sport, Music, Dance, CRU Group, and more.
Our Pastoral Care programme recognizes each student as a unique individual and supports them socially, emotionally, and spiritually on their pathway to success. Students are taught the Leader in Me Program and draw upon this psychological framework to help guide their character development.
It is our privilege to guide our students as they aim to reach their potential and grow in character as they seek the Truth and pursue Excellence for a life fulfilled in Service.
