Headmaster - Rev Louis Stringer
Bachelor of Education (Hons), Advanced Diploma (Christian Ministry & Theology), MACE
Louis commenced as Headmaster in January 2016. Formerly a House Master at Knox Grammar School he later took Command of SHORE Army Cadet Unit (ACU) after which he served as Deputy & Acting Headmaster of Macquarie Anglican Grammar School whilst Commanding 235ACU. Louis enjoys the outdoors and competes each year in the Crossfit Games. He and his wife Danielle have 5 children.
Deputy Headmaster - Mr Scott Hazelton
Bachelor of Science (Biomed), Grad Dip Education, Masters (Religious and Values Education)
Scott commenced as Deputy Headmaster in January 2016. Prior to this Scott had been at St Columba Anglican School as a senior Chemistry Teacher and Director of Ministry and Christian studies. In 2018, Scott accepted a lecturing role for Edrolo (Chemistry), as well as editing for Nelson publications assisting with new textbooks for the HSC Chemistry Syllabus. Scott and his wife Caroline have 4 children and they attend Orange Evangelical Church and in his spare time enjoys running.
Business Manager - Cate Lawrence
Since 2011, Cate has resided on a property near Orange with her family, fostering a deep connection to the Orange and Molong communities. As a devoted follower of Jesus, she is passionate about Christian education and dedicated to supporting the mission of sharing the gospel. With an impressive background in business management and finance, Cate has extensive experience in financial oversight, strategic planning, and community engagement. highlight her skills in budget management, financial forecasting, and governance. In her spare time Cate is a sporty individual who enjoys playing tennis and cricket.
Director of Engagement - Mrs Jess Willis
Masters of Education (Ed. Psych.); Masters of Teaching (Primary); Bachelor of Social Science (Recreation and Human Movement)
Jess began teaching at OAGS in 2011 after watching her children grow and thrive in the early years of the school. With a passion for Primary education, Jess has taught across the school in a range of roles from Kindergarten to Year 8, using positive relationships to engage, support and understand her students. Jess and her husband Scott have 3 grown children who have all journeyed from Prep through to Year 12 at OAGS. They enjoy the country life and being hobby farmers on their small acreage.
Director of Primary - Ms Alice Glyde
Bachelor of Education (Primary)
In January 2024, Alice relocated to Orange from Sydney to begin as the Director of Primary. Before starting at OAGS, Alice taught in the Junior School at St Luke’s Grammar (Dee Why) for 11 years where she held several positions, including Head of House and, more recently, Assistant Head of Junior School (2022 - 2023) and Acting Head of Junior School (Terms 1 - 3, 2023). Alice is currently studying for a Master of Educational Leadership at UNSW and aims to complete this degree during 2024. In Sydney, Alice was an active member of St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Willoughby. She eagerly looks forward to settling into and serving her new church community. When the time allows, Alice loves to go skiing and she enjoys creating pottery in her garage.
Director of Secondary - Mr Tim Brown
Mr Tim Brown
Bachelor of Education (USYD), Graduate Diploma of Bible and Mission (SMBC)
Tim was appointed the Director of Secondary School in 2022. He was previously Coordinator of TAS at Northern Beaches Christian School before joining OAGS as the Coordinator of Discipline and Welfare in Secondary School. In 2019 he was promoted to the Head of School Welfare and Wellbeing before moving into his current role. Tim is married to Jill and their 4 boys all attend Orange Anglican Grammar. In his quieter moments, he enjoys taking his boys abseiling, beach holidays and serving at his local church.
